==Route description==
FM 2606 is a two-lane route for its entire length. Its western terminus is at near the entrance to Lake Arrowhead State Park. The route travels to the east, past the north edge of Lake Arrowhead and across the Wichita Falls Dam on a load-zoned bridge. It winds around the northeastern edge of the lake before veering to the northeast at an intersection with Bunny Run Road. The route turns to the east near its eastern terminus at , which provides access to Henrietta.〔
